This year’s Tapestry of a Town takes place Sunday, July 28, 2024, from 1pm-5pm. Visit 11 historic sites of Westerville and learn about the heritage of your community, all while contributing to a wonderful cause. The funds raised from ticket sales go toward building homes in partnership with deserving families who just need a hand up, not a hand-out. Please also join us at our Walls Build in August (see below), to participate in the excitement of creating a “house-in-a-day.”
The eleven Tapestry of a Town sites include: Grace Lutheran Church, Westerville Area Resource Ministry (W.A.R.M.), Good Vibes Winery, Blend Candle Company, High Bank Distillery, Longfellow Elementary School, Howard House, Otterbein’s Cowan Hall, the City Building, a private residence, and the Westerville Library for local history!

Your ticket includes a handcrafted bowl made by Columbus Academy students,
a bowl of soup (served in a disposable bowl), bread, cookie, and beverage
Soup for Shelter
This walking event stops for concerts at each of the three Uptown Westerville churches - Church of the Master, Church of the Messiah, and First Presbyterian Church - all within about a block of each other. Ticket holders attend a short concert in each of the three churches and are led to the next by costumed guides with lanterns. It's a great way to get into the holiday spirit, see beautifully decorated historic churches, and hear great music provided by the choirs and musicians of our five member churches.
